Peterbilt 359 Tri Axle Southern Boom Crane Truck with Lowboy Trailer

This kit started life as the Revell Germany Peterbilt 359 Alaska hauler. I made extensive modifications to the truck including cutting the hood sides off exposing the engine. The front tires and wheels where made for me by Mo'luminum. The cab was then converted to a day cab everything behind the cab was all scratch built including the boom. The rear tires and wheels are also from Mo'luminum. The Trailer is an AMT Lowboy I added the wood planking to. The decals where printed on a alps printer. Plenty of sheet stock diamond plating and Bare Metal Foil was used to create this monster. This truck is far from perfect but it was my first real scratch building job and I'm pretty happy with the out come.
